Authorization from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.Preferred QualificationsExceptional Candidates also have:Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access) and MS OutlookExperience with apprenticeship programs or skilled tradesAbility to multi-task and interpret, analyze and compile data in a user-friendly formatAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Coordinate with HR and Training Staff and create maintenance training schedules.Coach maintenance hourly/salary employees as needed with maintenance systems, processes, and contractual requirements.Track On the Job Training Hours (OJT) hours for up to 75+ apprentices and probationary employees and manage their reviews and/or retention decisions.Register and track apprentices in the Iowa Office of Apprenticeship. Assist with documentation and filing of apprentice and probationary reviews, plantwide mobile equipment training records and on the job training forms.Assist with the Learning Management System (LMS) including training requests, changes, training assignments, etc.Other duties as assigned.
