Data Entry Clerk

Data Entry ClerkNorthpoint Consulting Inc. is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is based in our Austin, Texas, United States office. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining large volumes of information in our company databases and computer systems. We are looking for an individual who is highly organised, efficient, and committed to maintaining data integrity. The offered salary for this role is $20 - $25 per hour (USD).ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Entry Clerk, your primary duties will include:Accurately entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits.Compiling, verifying, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking the output.Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents.Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations.Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.Complying with data integrity and security policies to ensure data remains secure.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar position.Fast and accurate typing skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word).Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further computer training or certification will be considered an asset.The ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines.A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.Northpoint Consulting Inc. offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
