Technical Leader

DXC Technology Italia is looking for a Technical Leader to join our Application Service DXC Team. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced software. The role involves analyzing and resolving business and technical problems, interacting with client face colleagues to understand the business environment and technical context, staying current on emerging tools and technologies, and leading a small team by providing mentoring and guidance to less senior developers.

Education and skills required include a Bachelor or Master Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Experience and knowledge in Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, Cloud based applications, and Microservices architecture and patterns are necessary. Strong technical experience in writing code using languages like Java EE, Spring Framework, Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, and knowledge of design patterns and architecture design, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases, are also required. Proficiency in software development processes such as Agile and Waterfall, DevOps, and the ability to work with web-development tools for new applications are essential. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies is preferred. The ideal candidate has strong analytics skills, problem solving, focus on results, decision making skills, and the ability to work in teams.
