Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with recent OR experience to support surgical teams. Must be adaptable, reliable, and ready to adhere to facility standards while providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all supplies are ready for scheduled surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to facilitate smooth operations.
• Document all procedures, patient information, and intraoperative details accurately.
• Comply with all facility policies, including travel and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience; 3 or more years preferred.
• Active RN license in the state or a compact license meeting NLC guidelines.
• Demonstrated EPIC system experience preferred.
• Ability to work 3x12 hour day shifts, with flexibility for schedule changes.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; travel compliance required.
• Proven experience in surgical support and patient monitoring.
