Position : Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Sherman, Texas
Start Date: August 25, 2026
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Setting: School-based, primarily elementary

At a Glance

A Sherman-area school district is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. The caseload is largely elementary, with most services expected to be provided at Neblett Elementary.

The district is moving quickly with interviews for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Need

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Active Texas SLP license or appropriate Clinical Fellowship eligibility
• CCC-SLPs and CFY candidates may be considered
• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred

Core Duties

• Deliver speech and language therapy services
• Complete evaluations and screenings
• Write and monitor IEP goals
• Track student progress and maintain documentation
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
• Coordinate with teachers, families, and special education staff
