Construction Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a construction attorney to join its Business, Property, and Construction Law Practice Group in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in public procurement and contract negotiation. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including construction and professional services agreements. Handle bid packages, procurement documents, and bid protests. Manage claims related to stop payment notices, change orders, and payment disputes. Collaborate on litigation matters as needed. Requirements Minimum of five years of relevant experience. Familiarity with public entity representation preferred. Admission to the California State Bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California State Bar admission. Skills Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks with strong attention to detail. Flexibility and initiative in handling diverse legal matters.
