Locums OB Coverage Needed

St. Elizabeth is looking for OB coverage for locums starting June 2026. Ongoing dates will be available as soon as August 2026 is released.

Bid Due Date: June 2nd at 5p EST!

Rates:

Malpractice – Must be included in rates.

Orientation – $200-225 - half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"

On Call (Daily) – $3500-3800 - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"

24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $5250-5700 - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"

Call Back – $400-450 – "Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms."

Holiday Call Back – $600-675 – "Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms."

Average Worked Callback Hours: Weekday: 6.88 hours; Weekend: 5 hours

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• All stints below end the following morning at 7a.
• June 21-22
• July 15
• July 17-20
• July 24-26
• Ongoing dates will begin June when schedules are released.

• 24 hour call (7a-7a)
• 10-15 shifts in total for all locums ongoing per month.

EMR Required Training:

• Credentialing Preapp and full app must be completed and submitted to move provider into "applicant in training" to generate AD account and begin EMR account set up. Once AD account creation begins it can take up to 5 days to create account.
• Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
• EMR Virtual (PPL) training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed at least one week prior to the providers first day.
• First Day Details - Site requires completion of EMR Modules and training, before first day details can be released.
• All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidates submission at time of presentation.
• What are the # of years of epic experience they have?
• When was the last time (MM/YYYY) that they used Epic?
• What is the name of the last facility the provider used EPIC?
• Can you provide me with a photo large enough to add to a badge and not become pixelated? - Please add photo to documents section.
• Can you disclose the provider's time zone for scheduling the virtual epic training?
• We need the provider's best phone # to use for call shifts while working. Can you disclose?
• We need the provider's best email, to use for programs while working onsite and the preapplication. Can you please send us their personal email address?

Travel Preferences:

• Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels: Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Fort Morgan Or Hampton Inn, Fort Morgan. Must ask for corporate rate when booking. No other lodging sites will be approved.
• Air Travel: Acceptable, will put preference on candidates who are local.
• Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: 60 days standard, 30 days or less for temps
• Credentialing with other facilities? No
• Requirements: Self inquiry NPDB report must be provided and CO license or Active IMLC to release preapplication.
• Requirements: Preapp and full app must be submitted within 72 hours of receipt of initial app to allow enough time for AD account creation for EMR requirements. Once both are submitted, provider is moved to "applicant in training" which initiates AD Account creation for provider EMR account and can take up to 5 days before release of EMR training requirements.
• Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? NO

• How many patients per day will there be? I see there are types of patients seen but needing clarification on the amount of patients per day. This is for hospital call only so it is hard to determine how many patients they may see. All depends on how many moms are due to deliver.
• How many deliveries per month? 15 deliveries per month.
• Will there be surgery and urology back up? General surgery 24/7, Minimal urology - 2 days per week.

Requirement Description:

• Board Certified OBGYN or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency completion) - [REQUIRED]
• Active CO license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) - [REQUIRED]
• Active BLS - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] - Required to obtain during credentialing
• Active DEA - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
• Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date -[REQUIRED]
• Candidates must acknowledge they understand the requirement to stay at the preferred hotel detailed in the job description when rooms are available - [REQUIRED]
• Candidate must be available for the stint detailed in the job description to be considered for ongoing dates - [REQUIRED]
• Candidates must detail the # of shifts per month ongoing they can offer to the site - [REQUIRED]
• Clean MP/Background - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] - candidates who present with a self inquiry NPDB report will be placed in priority over those that do not include this.
• A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date.
