Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 18 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care/ICU – Georgia Start Date: September 14, 2026 Location: Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend; holiday coverage required per assignment length; maximum 7 days PTO per contract (must be finalized at submission) Highlights: 24-bed ICU with average daily census of 19 patients Patient ratio typically 1:2, with potential for 1:3 assignment Diverse case mix including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT Epic EMR with SBAR documentation; Pyxis medication management Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy Orientation provided; compliance must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date to ensure timely onboarding Requirements: Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start Proficiency in ventilator management, central line care, stroke management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and CRRT preferred Experience with high-flow nasal cannula, ETT/NT suctioning, and critical care monitoring equipment Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed Adult and geriatric patient population experience Why It's a Great Opportunity: This critical care position offers the chance to work with a complex and rewarding patient population while utilizing advanced critical care skills in a well-supported ICU environment.
