Citrix Administrator

Epic Production Support Under general supervision, the Citrix administrator is responsible for deploying and maintaining the EPIC client on terminal servers and monitoring the daily operation of the servers. The role also encompasses building and deploying a remote access solution integrated with Citrix Specific Tasks Manage and deploy updates and new releases to existing terminal servers at a frequency determined by best practices, security and required features. Use capacity planning and server sizing to assess hardware needs and ensure that the hardware required supports excellent end-user application response times. Establish a baseline for system performance. Regularly monitor system performance and determine the cause of any unexpected decrease in performance. Manage/administer all Epic and non-Epic Citrix environments. Participate in HealthLink (Epic) upgrades and downtimes. Required Skills & Abilities Deploy, upgrade, and administer Citrix Virtual Apps environment used to deploy HealthLink (Epic) Hyperspace to our providers, clinicians and finance personnel. Deploy, upgrade, and administer Citrix Virtual Desktop used for HHS remote access. Manage non HealthLink (Epic) applications currently delivered using Citrix Virtual Apps. Experience Requirements Experience Citrix virtual apps, Citrix virtual desktops, Microsoft Group Policy, VMware, Windows Server 2019, 2012. One of the following: Citrix Certified Admin, Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator, Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer 3+ years of direct hands-on experience administering Citrix in an Epic hospital environment.
