Avionics Technician

As an Avionics Technician , you’ll play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and safety of aircraft avionics systems. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair avionics discrepancies using approved technical data. Perform operational checks and testing of navigation, communication, autopilot, radar, and other avionics systems. Troubleshoot electrical wiring, avionics systems, and integration issues. Support scheduled inspections, modifications, upgrades, and installations. Install, configure, and test avionics components and systems. Perform post-installation operational checks and verify system functionality. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company manuals. Accurately document completed work and maintain proper parts traceability. Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and regulatory compliance. Support tool calibration and provide technical input for process improvements. Travel as needed to provide Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Valid U.S. driver’s license. 3–5 years of avionics experience on turbine-powered aircraft. Strong knowledge of digital avionics systems and aircraft system integration. Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred: Experience working on Learjet aircraft. $30–$36 per hour Blue Cross Blue Shield health, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time employees after 30 days.
