Business Application Specialist II

Business Application Specialist II Provides advanced, enterprise-level support and administration for Real Estate systems supporting lease management, capital improvement projects (CIP), right-of-way (ROW), land acquisition, permitting, and operational workflows. Serves as the primary application owner and/or lead technical resource for platforms including DebtBooks, Masterworks, and Accela, coordinating across stakeholders and working in close collaboration with the Department of Information Technology to ensure alignment with enterprise infrastructure, security standards, and system integration requirements. Duties and responsibilities Lead administration and configuration of Real Estate systems and/or modules including DebtBooks, Masterworks, and Accela, ensuring systems align with operational and business requirement Support lease management, debt tracking, capital project management, permitting, right-of-way (ROW), and land acquisition processes through effective system administration and workflow optimization Ensure system performance, uptime, reliability, and data integrity across mission-critical Real Estate applications and integrated platforms Lead and support integrations between Real Estate systems and enterprise applications including financial systems, GIS platforms, document management systems, and workflow solutions Perform backend system support, including data validation, troubleshooting, and development of custom queries or reports using SQL or similar tools Support and maintain API integrations and data exchange processes between systems and external platforms Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including lease activity, project status, permit workflows, ROW tracking, and operational performance metrics Lead system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and minimal operational disruption Analyze workflows and business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement, and increased operational efficiency Provide technical leadership and coordination across stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for Real Estate-related technology systems Coordinate development of training materials, documentation, and user guidance; provide training and support to system users and stakeholder Coordinate and maintain inventory of hardware, software, and technology assets supporting Real Estate systems Provide input to departmental technology planning and contribute to short- and long-term system strategy initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
