Site Management and Monitoring Hub Head (oncology)

AstraZeneca seeks a Site Management and Monitoring Hub Head for its Oncology portfolio, overseeing clinical trial operations across the USA and Canada. The role reports to the Global Head of SMM Oncology and translates global strategy into regional operational excellence, managing site delivery, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Oversee timely, ethical, and compliant delivery of oncology and hematology interventional trials across USA and Canada
Translate global Oncology strategy into regional operational and market-level plans aligned with therapy area priorities
Drive implementation of regional study leadership practices, digital strategies, and resource optimization
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Payors, and institutional partners
Manage budgets, forecast resources, hire and develop direct reports, and ensure performance against quality and speed metrics

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline
At least 10 years of pharmaceutical development and patient safety experience
Big pharma background required
Leadership experience in complex, multidisciplinary environments
Mastery of clinical development with cross-functional exposure
Effective stakeholder communication and influence skills

Compensation: $304,856–$457,285 base
