Your Role on the Team Position Summary A licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of California who will provide Respiratory Services according to the scope of the Respiratory Care Practice Act and the hospital policy and procedures manuals. The RCP will provide respiratory therapy services to inpatients and outpatients as ordered by the physician caring for patient of ages: Birth - 12 Child, 13-18 Adolescents, 18-64 Adults and 65 plus Older Adults. Under the supervision of the Technician Coordinator and the Director of the Cardiopulmonary Department, the RCP provides respiratory care as directed by physician order. Tasks include, but are limited to basic respiratory care, emergency respiratory care, ventilator management, pulmonary testing, and some cardiology procedures.
