School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Wilkesboro, NC

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Wilkes County Schools for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP looking for a consistent 4-day workweek while making a meaningful impact on students' communication and academic success.
Position Details
- Location: Wilkesboro, NC
- School District: Wilkes County Schools
- Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Schedule: 30 hours per week (4 days per week)
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- End Date: June 4, 2027
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
- School-based experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students and helping them reach their full potential
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services to students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success
