Qualifications & Experience:

• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy plans in an educational setting
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs in alignment with IEP goals
• Participate in evaluation, eligibility determination, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support students’ success
• Maintain thorough records, documentation, and support compliance with IDEA regulations
• Engage in professional development and contribute expertise to the team

Details:

• Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year
• 4 days per week, 30 hours weekly schedule for optimal balance
• Assignment runs from August 17, 2026 through June 4, 2027
