Reporting to nursing leadership, this role is responsible for coordinating and delivering care using the nursing process within an acute care hospital environment.Key ResponsibilitiesApply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient careIdentify learning needs and participate in ongoing professional developmentUtilize patient education materials and assess readiness to learnEstablish patient specific outcomes and revise care plans as neededCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of careProvide safe, evidence based care for patients with varying levels of complexityPerform point of care testing in accordance with standards and policiesPrioritize and organize care; seek guidance for complex clinical situationsSet and pursue professional growth goals aligned with unit objectivesCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and team membersPromote a safe, clean, and cost effective care environmentAnticipate discharge needs and support patient and family advocacyIncorporate cultural awareness and multidisciplinary resources into care planningMaintain awareness of current practice trends and contribute to quality improvement initiativesRequired EducationNursing Diploma OR ADN or ASN from an accredited school of nursingPreferred EducationBSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursingRequired Certifications & LicensureRegistered Nurse state license required (or willing to obtain)BLS (AHA or ARC)This is a permanent, full-time position with great pay and FULL BENEFITS.
