Summary: ATS is seeking a full-time NAS-410 Level II PT/MT/UTT /ET (multiple NAS-410 certs preferred) Technician and NDT trained or prior military NDI/NDT Inspectors to support our Huntsville, AL office. Must be local or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.\n
\n
Responsibilities/Duties : NAS-410 Level II PT/MT/UTT/ET\n
\n
\n

\n
• Perform NDT examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
\n
• Certify as a NAS-Level II PT/MT/UTT/ET Technician
\n
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
\n
• Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations.
\n
• Work independently and support team members. Perform other job-related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
\n

\n
\nEntry Level NDT with approved formal classroom hours in MT/PT/UT are encouraged to apply\n
\n
\nPrior military with aviation NDI/NDT training and experience are encouraged to apply.\n

Qualifications \n
\n
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: \n
\n
\n

\n
• Certifiable to NAS-410 Level II PT/MT/UTT and/or ET
\n
• Entry Level NDT Trainees MUST HAVE approved formal classroom hours in NDT
\n
• Documented classroom hours in each method plus OJT/Experience Hours for each method for Level II re-certification
\n
• Additional NDT Certifications or at least experience in RT preferred.
\n

• Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
\n
• Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
\n

Work Conditions: \n
\n
\n

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
\n
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
\n
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
\n
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
\n
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
\n
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
\n
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
