Shop Supervisor

Warehouse SupervisorSupervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and workflow.Assign work tasks and monitor employee productivity and performance.Ensure packages are received, stored, issued, and tracked accurately.Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and inventory controls.Monitor warehouse cleanliness and organization standards.Ensure timely completion of warehouse projects and operational goals.Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse personnel.Conduct employee training and provide ongoing performance feedback.Monitor attendance, work quality, and productivity.Promote a positive team environment and adherence to company policies.Ensure staff comply with all safety procedures and operational requirements.Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and company vehicles.Identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs.Perform minor troubleshooting and basic repairs when appropriate.Maintain equipment maintenance records and inspection documentation.Ensure safe operation of facility equipment.Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies.Conduct safety inspections and address hazards promptly.Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.Promote a culture of workplace safety and accountability.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.Prepare reports and maintain accurate operational records.Utilize computer systems for tracking inventory, work orders, and reporting.Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and project planning activities.Support operational improvement initiatives and special projects.Communicate effectively with management, employees, vendors, and customers.High School Diploma or GED required.Additional technical, vocational, or warehouse management training preferred.Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, logistics, or operations experience.Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent attention to detail.Basic project management experience.Basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office applications.Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management practices.Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.Fluent in English (required).Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Frequently stand and walk for extended periods.Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds independently.Occasionally lift or move items exceeding 50 pounds with assistance.Climb ladders and safely access storage areas.Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.Operate warehouse equipment, hand tools, and company vehicles.Read labels, reports, equipment manuals, and computer screens.Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.Valid Driver's License required.Acceptable driving record required.LeadershipAccountabilityCommunicationSafety AwarenessOrganizationProject ManagementAttention to DetailProblem SolvingTeamworkCustomer ServiceTime ManagementContinuous ImprovementTRDI Core Values: Integrity, Innovation, Communication, Compassion, and Courage.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
