THE ROLEAMD is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced team responsible for delivering complex real estate capital projects across a global portfolio. In this role, you will lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of projects spanning office, lab, and support facilities, ensuring alignment with AMD’s business objectives.You will operate at the intersection of corporate strategy and facilities execution, managing multiple high-value initiatives while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. You excel at balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution and are motivated by delivering results that align with broader business goals.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead end-to-end project management for large-scale real estate capital projects including construction, renovations, lab buildouts, and tenant improvementsDevelop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and reporting processesOversee full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through construction, closeout, and occupancyEstablish and maintain detailed schedules, tracking milestones and critical path activitiesDevelop, manage, and forecast project budgets while ensuring cost control and financial accuracyConduct budget analysis, variance tracking, and financial reconciliation throughout project phasesReview and approve vendor contracts, invoices, change orders, and procurement documentationPartner with Finance and Real Estate leadership on capital expenditure planning and reportingServe as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders including business units, IT, Security, and EHSBuild and manage relationships with external partners such as architects, engineers, contractors, and consultantsLead project meetings, design reviews, and executive updates with clear and concise communicationIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks related to schedule, scope, cost, and qualityCoordinate permitting and regulatory processes across global regionsMaintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, and change logsContribute to continuous improvement of project management standards, tools, and best practicesProvide status reporting and project health updates to leadershipSupport post-occupancy evaluations and lessons-learned initiativesPREFERRED EXPERIENCEExperience managing complex real estate or construction projects in a corporate or high-tech environmentBackground in global or multi-regional project delivery across diverse regulatory environmentsFamiliarity with tenant improvement projects and facility buildoutsUnderstanding of construction processes, codes, and design disciplinesExperience managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems or technical infrastructureProficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office suiteFamiliarity with AI-integrated or digital workflow processesStrong leadership, organization, and communication skills in fast-paced environmentsExperience working with cross-functional teams and external vendorsACADEMIC CREDENTIALSBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferredProfessional certifications such as PE, AIA, LEED, or CMAA preferredThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-SD1#LI-HybridBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
