Restaurant Shift Leader

Job Description Overview We are seeking enthusiastic, hands on and reliable Shift Leader to join our growing team. As a Shift Leader you will play a crucial role in leading the team, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. You will be responsible for opening and closing duties, cash handling, labor and inventory management, enforcement of company policies. Various tasks in a fast-paced hands on environment including: assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen operations. Must be able to lift upwards of 40 Lbs. If selected be willing to submit to a background check as well as drug test. Responsibilities Working as part of a flexible team including cooking, baking and assembling orders as needed. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the café and kitchen areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure that all food items are fresh and presented well. Buss tables and clean dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Help manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. Manage team members. Upholding standards set forth by H&H. Coach and develop team. Skills Previous experience as a Lead or Manager required 1 Year minimum. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills, including retail math, to handle transactions accurately. Experience in food service or kitchen operations is required. Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean work environment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the café setting.
