Senior Android Engineer

We’re looking for a Sr Android Engineer who’s excited to make an impact. In this role, you will be responsible for building and evolving our native Android application used by field service technicians on the job. You'll work on a mature, modular Kotlin codebase — contributing to offline-first sync architecture, Jetpack Compose adoption, and platform features that directly impact how our customers work in the field. You'll collaborate closely with iOS, Backend, API, and Web teams, and play an active role in shaping engineering practices on the mobile team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin including coroutines, Flow, and idiomatic Kotlin patterns
• Experience with Jetpack Compose in production Android applications
• Experience with Dagger 2 or similar dependency injection frameworks
• Experience with MVVM or similar architecture patterns
• Experience with Room or similar local persistence solutions
• Proficiency with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for async and reactive programming
• Experience with REST API integration and offline-first or sync-heavy mobile applications
• Solid understanding of Android memory management, performance profiling, and debugging tools
• Experience with unit and integration testing on Android
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Google Play Store release processes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working across teams

Requirements

• Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools; pragmatic about their strengths and limitations
• Demonstrated ability to help teammates adopt AI tooling where it genuinely improves output and quality
