Physician Assistant | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Silverdale, WA Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The Physician Assistant will be expected to practice at full capacity, including operative assistance, rounding, and clinic support. Daily patient volumes typically include five to ten hospital patients, involving intensive care unit management and one to two surgeries per day. Responsibilities include: Assisting in open general CV/thoracic surgery and on-pump coronary artery bypass surgery. Participating in valvular repair and replacement procedures. Managing acute care and ICU patients, including evaluating acute volume and blood pressure issues. Performing central line insertions and managing ventilation as required. Updating electronic medical records using EPIC. Qualifications & Credentialing We are seeking a highly skilled PA with specific experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery, both within the OR and in the management of acute care patients. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: Certified PA: Active national certification is required. Washington Licensure: A current WA license is highly preferred; however, we will consider providers willing to obtain a license during the credentialing process. Background: A clean malpractice and background history is highly preferred. NPDB Report: A Self-Query NPDB report must be provided at the time of presentation and must be dated within 30 days of submission. Local Candidates: Local providers who do not require air travel are highly preferred. What We Offer We provide a competitive compensation structure for this assignment. Rates include malpractice coverage and are categorized as follows: Hourly Rate: $250-$275 per hour. Holiday Hourly Rate: $375-$412.50 per hour. Nightly Call: $600-$700 per night (includes 2.5 hours of gratis service). Holiday Nightly Call: $900-$1,050 per night (includes 2.5 hours of gratis service). Daily 24-Hour Call: $1,500-$1,700 (includes 4 hours of gratis service). Holiday 24-Hour Call: $2,250-$2,550 (includes 4 hours of gratis service). Callback Rate: $250-$275 per hour after gratis hours are completed. Holiday Callback Rate: $375-$412.50 per hour after gratis hours are completed. Orientation: $125-$137.50 per hour for training beyond the first 8 hours.
