HVAC Foreman Location: York, PA HVAC FOREMAN – RESIDENTIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is looking to hire a full‑time HVAC Foreman for our New Home Construction Division. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HVAC FOREMAN FOR NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION As a HVAC Foreman, you provide oversight and direction for field personnel, ensuring that materials are on site before labor begins. You evaluate the quality of work at each construction phase, assist with complex installation challenges, and report to the project manager with recommendations. You champion quality and safety, confirming that all procedures are followed by staff. You direct subcontractors and field personnel, provide informal job‑site training, and inspire a sense of pride in the team's work. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC FOREMAN FOR NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION 5 years of HVAC new‑construction experience, with 2 years of leadership experience required. Ability to read and interpret oral and written instructions, assign and supervise HVAC personnel. Ensure all equipment and materials are present for installations. Manage labor, including Sobieski employees and subcontractors. Conduct regular inspections during work in progress and upon completion; participate in complex HVAC tasks. Consult with officials on proposed HVAC projects and make recommendations; recruit and train skilled trades personnel. Establish safety and performance standards for subordinates; perform related work as required. Journeyman certification is preferred but other qualifications will be considered. Strong problem‑solving, diplomatic communication, mentoring ability, and a passion for quality are essential for this role. FOREMAN WORK SCHEDULE This full‑time Foreman position typically works Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime can be expected during peak periods. #J-18808-Ljbffr
