FullTime Manual Labor Jacksonville, FL, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 2828 PRIMARY FUNCTION The Yard Technician II ensures that all equipment is ready for rent and the yard is organized tomaximize efficiency. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Must have a valid state driver’s license with a moderately clean driving record. Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language. Ability to take verbal and written instructions and perform the tasks necessary for the job. Ability to perform basic math. Ability to maintain a safe, organized and clean working environment. This position will require driving Non-DOT company vehicles to and from our clients. PREFERRED EDUCATION & SKILLS High School degree or equivalent is preferred. 1 year of Forklift experience is preferred. PRIMARY DUTIES Load and unload trucks. This includes the safe distribution of weight and proper and legal tie down of all loads. Transports non-DOT equipment Prepare equipment for rent. Organize and put equipment and tools in proper place. Keep the area of responsibility clean and organized. Keep forklift, pallet jack, and pressure washer in good working order. Responsible for matching loaded and unloaded equipment with delivery tickets or other freight documents. Performs minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment. Notes any physical damage to equipment received on freight document. Works outdoors in all weather conditions. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
