Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications CPI
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Psychiatry in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 13 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Cerner
• Skills Assessment PSY skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 1 Charge RN reference within the last 720 days.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee of the health system in the past year.
• Additional Confirmations I understand that the start date for this assignment is at least 6 weeks from the date I am offered.
• Additional Confirmations De-escalation and milieu management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Comfort with putting a kid in a physical hold and making the decision to put in seclusion and/or restraint is required.
• Additional Confirmations IM meds administration experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience handling asthma patients (medically cleared) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to manage multiple escalated patients at the same time is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to manage multiple events of s/r at the same time is required.
• Additional Confirmations Comfort managing a unit independently is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
