ASSISTANT COACH

Responsibilities Assist in recruiting and retention of student-athletes: identifying prospects, organizing and arranging campus visits, serving as liaison to campus relations (housing, registration, compliance, etc.) abiding by NCAA compliance and Atlantic 10 Conference rules and regulations. Assist in player development of student-athletes, manage and organize team travel, and assist with opponent scouting. Coordinate camps and expected to develop strong relationships within the Chicago and University community. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Two years of collegiate coaching experience in designated sport required. Understanding of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education. Qualifications An ability to draw upon coaching/playing experience and contribute to technical training as well as in match tactical adjustments. Must have working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Computer Skills Microsoft Office.
