Alarm & Suppression Inc, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, located in Ballston Lake, NY is looking for a Fire Alarm Project Manager to join our team!  The Fire Alarm Designer/Project Manager position assists with the development of project designs, drawings, submittal documents, closeout documents, purchasing, shipping, and general project supervision.

Salary Range: $72,000 - $93,600 Responsibilities

• Provide design and project support to Project, Sales, and Service groups.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom details for all product families.
• Coordinate with other team members to accomplish required tasks while also working independently with minimal supervision.
• Prioritize assigned work based on due date.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of basic electronics (low voltage power, circuits, relay, etc.).
• Knowledge of various electronic building systems and codes (ex; NYS Building Codes, NFPA Codes, Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Security, Access, CCTV, Nurse Call, Intercom, Door Entry, Public Address, etc.).
• Knowledge of computers and computer applications such as Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD, Vendor Software, printers, scanners, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret building design drawings, specifications, and building systems.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• The ability to obtain a NICET (Fire Alarm) certification in a reasonable amount of time.
• Ability to attend job site visits, meetings, schools, and training as needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, or attend to computer keyboard and monitor for extended times.  Also, lift or carry materials which may weigh up to 30lbs

Salary Range: $72,000 - $93,600
