Bast Hatfield Construction is searching for an ambitious commercial construction Project Manager who wants more than another project to manage. Our self-performing capabilities, long-tenured workforce, and reputation for integrity allow our project managers to solve problems instead of fighting bureaucracy. You'll lead commercial projects ranging from approximately $2 million to over $20 million across healthcare, higher education, hospitality, industrial, retail, and public sectors.

 

What You'll Do

• Lead multiple commercial construction projects from award through closeout.
• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and field leadership.
• Drive schedule, budget, quality, and profitability.
• Lead contract negotiations, procurement, change management, and project financials.
• Coordinate preconstruction, estimating, operations, and field teams.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers while growing into larger leadership responsibilities.
• Identify risks early and solve problems before they impact the project.

 

Who you are

• We care more about what you've accomplished than how many years you've worked.
• Experience leading commercial construction projects as a General Contractor
• Demonstrated success managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
• Ability to think like an owner rather than simply manage paperwork
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with public and private work preferred
