Effectively use product knowledge to sell all merchandise and adhere to the customer service program. Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience and strong customer service skills are preferred. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list: Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service. Operating cash registers. Achieving individual sales goals. Directing customers to merchandise within the store. Increasing in-store sales. Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor. Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers. Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
