Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician At UFC GYM, we raise the bar of what a “Big Gym” experience should be. We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and detail‑oriented Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities and fitness equipment operate at peak performance. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily safety walk‑throughs of the entire facility to identify, log, and resolve safety hazards or maintenance concerns. Maintain a comprehensive log of preventative maintenance and perform monthly OSHA safety checks in strict accordance with OSHA and PM guidelines. Build and maintain an accurate history file on all fitness, facility, and specialized martial arts equipment to track longevity and repair cycles. Efficiently procure necessary repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment while staying within budget guidelines. Execute specialized facility projects and upgrades as directed by the General Manager and Operations Manager to elevate the club environment. What You Bring General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical systems, with a strong mechanical aptitude for diagnosing and fixing equipment issues. Previous operational or maintenance experience specifically within a gym or health club environment. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with management and to minimize disruption to members on the floor. Exceptional time‑management skills and a reliable track record for executing scheduled checklists. Requirements & Certifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven technical experience in building maintenance or equipment repair. Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to complete during onboarding).
