Foreign Exchange Operations Manager

Position Foreign Exchange Operations Manager Location & Work Arrangement Must be located within the Huntington Corporate office footprint. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the Escalations Pod, including escalations, multi‑currency loans, and investigations workflows within FX Operations. Develop strategic plans supporting corporate goals, optimize the Escalations Pod operating model, and implement new policies to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Act as liaison with front office, middle office, and key partners (Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Technology) to facilitate timely escalation resolution and ensure alignment on issue management. Manage day‑to‑day responsibilities for a team of direct reports, overseeing analysts in escalations management, multi‑currency loan support, and investigations & research activities. Drive resolution of escalations and exceptions, including payment issues, non‑receipts, loan inquiries, reconciliation breaks, trade‑related settlement concerns, and client escalations. Ensure all escalated items are resolved in a timely, accurate, and well‑documented manner, maintaining audit trails and adherence to control standards. Establish clear ownership, prioritization, and workflow management to handle high‑risk and time‑sensitive issues effectively. Identify trends and root causes across Escalations, Multi‑Currency Loans, and Investigations, and lead process improvements and control enhancements. Prepare, monitor, control, and report performance to senior management, and establish quality of service levels for all escalation‑related activities. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, 5 years of leadership experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of Foreign Exchange experience; leadership experience within FX operations, especially in escalations, investigations, or exception management; proven leadership skills; ability to manage in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with competing priorities; experience with Wall Street Systems and/or MTS; experience managing operational workflows aligned to a pod‑based structure.
