Job Description

The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. Our unit prides itself on delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have significant critical care experience and the ability to manage complex patients, using advanced technology and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and management.
• Administer care for patients post-surgery, including CABG recovery.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Swan Ganz catheters and CRRT.
• Manage ventilator settings and patient response.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• 2 years of critical care experience in an adult ICU setting (CVICU, Neuro ICU, or similar).
• Experience with ventilators, arterial and central line management, and chest tubes.
• Preferred: CCRN certification and BSN degree.
