Event Helper

Event Helper We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented contract event helper to assist with the planning and execution of various events in Charlottesville, VA. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. This role involves collaborating with event coordinators, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless event operations. Key responsibilities include: Assist in the setup, breakdown, and overall management of events. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of services. Provide on-site support during events, including guest assistance and problem resolution. Help manage event logistics such as registration, seating arrangements, and equipment setup. Maintain inventory of event supplies and materials. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations during events. Perform other duties as assigned by the event coordinator. Qualifications: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software. Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings. Ability to lift and carry event materials and equipment.
