We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented contract event helper to assist with the planning and execution of various events in Charlottesville, VA. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. This role involves collaborating with event coordinators, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless event operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in the setup, breakdown, and overall management of events.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
• Provide on-site support during events, including guest assistance and problem resolution.
• Help manage event logistics such as registration, seating arrangements, and equipment setup.
• Maintain inventory of event supplies and materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations during events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the event coordinator.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
• Ability to lift and carry event materials and equipment.
