Litigation Attorney

Scion Legal Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Employment Litigation Attorney on behalf of a rapidly growing plaintiff-side employment law firm . This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced California employment litigator who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment focused on strategic advocacy, exceptional client service, and strong case outcomes. This position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.; however, candidates must be licensed in California and have experience practicing California employment law. Key Responsibilities Manage a high-volume caseload of California employment litigation matters from intake through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents. Conduct legal research and develop strategic case recommendations. Handle depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances. Advise clients on employment law matters and litigation risk. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff in a remote work environment. Maintain proactive communication with clients and provide exceptional client service. Develop creative and effective litigation strategies designed to achieve favorable outcomes. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Active California Bar admission and good standing. 3-5+ years of California employment litigation experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, organization, and client management abilities. Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Comfortable working in a remote-first, technology-driven environment. Competitive base salary: $140,000–$200,000, depending on experience. Significant monthly bonus opportunities tied to case settlements and performance. Fully remote work environment. Unlimited paid time off (PTO). Ten paid holidays annually.
