Technical Business AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role will support the IT intake team by managing incoming work requests from initial engagement through requirements clarification and transition to development teams. Acting as a key liaison between technology and business stakeholders, the ideal candidate will lead requirements gathering, analyze existing capabilities, and play a pivotal role in the overall success of initiatives throughout the project lifecycle within an enterprise environment.Responsibilities:Work with IT and Business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectivesSupport the IT intake team by managing incoming work requests from initial engagement through requirements clarification and transition to development teamsAct as a key liaison between technology teams and internal customers, ensuring business needs, priorities, and expectations are clearly understoodLead initial requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement, including eliciting, documenting, analyzing, validating, and managing requirementsManage incoming work through the intake process, ensuring requests are appropriately assessed, prioritized, documented, and routed to the appropriate technology teamsSupport forecasting and demand planning by tracking incoming requests, anticipated work, priorities, capacity, and delivery timelinesServe as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT in understanding business needs and play a key role in the overall management and success of initiatives through the project lifecycleAnalyze existing capabilities, identify gaps and opportunities, and help translate business needs into actionable technical requirementsCommunicate with Developers to ensure acceptance criteria and user stories are clearly understood and appropriately implementedPartner with Testers to ensure test plans and scripts adequately address documented business requirementsFacilitate team routines such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, product demos, Feature/Story grooming, and other Agile ceremonies as neededFulfill Scrum Master responsibilities and facilitate Scrum ceremonies based on changing business and delivery demandsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent four-year experience in a related field5–7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and participate in technical solution definition2–3 years of technical experience and/or Computer Science degree, with the ability to read and understand BAU code and existing application functionalityExperience supporting IT intake, demand management, work prioritization, forecasting, or similar technology intake processesExperience managing incoming work requests from initial business engagement through requirements definition and transition to development teamsStrong experience with Agile methodologies and Agile delivery practicesWorking experience with JIRA and other Agile/project management toolsStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookPrevious success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple requests and adapt to changing prioritiesExcellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and proactively manage competing prioritiesExperience with client-facing applicationsDesired skills:Experience working with project or intake management toolsTechnical understanding of enterprise applications, software development lifecycles, integrations, and modern technology environmentsPrior banking or financial services experiencePay range: $42.09 - $50.09 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
