Senior Software Developer in AI

Lululemon is looking to hire a dynamic Senior Software Developer in AI to participate in AI proof-of-concept projects within Site Reliability Engineering. The Senior-level Back-end Developer is expected to have 10+ years of experience with at least 2 years of hands-on AI development and testing experience with a variety of AI models and tools. This role will work alongside SRE teams as they develop POCs to utilize AI tools to drive metrics-based outcomes. This software developer role will bring their applied AI experience to SRE use cases.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead development of AI POCs in the SRE space, driving operational, reliability, quality and cost-saving outcomes
• Make decisions about which AI tools and models best match which use cases
• Teach fellow team members techniques for getting the most out of AI
• Evaluate and document outcomes of POCs and make recommendations for next steps
• Act as subject matter expert for AI
• Create and maintain relevant documentation and conduct knowledge transfer activities

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Hands on experience with Claude, Gemini, GPT, Hugging Face ecosystem
• Proficiency in back-end technologies and programming languages and a deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms
• An ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
