This position has an hourly pay rate of $19.25 and is eligible for performance bonuses. The compensation listed represents the base pay for this position, which is just one of the many elements of our Total Compensation package.

We're looking for a General Manager with a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated), must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama), background check required, and the ability to meet the physical demands of this position.

Nice to haves include an associates degree or higher, experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing, and bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.

What you'll do includes managing overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards, coaching, leading, and developing all team members to build new business and increase store growth, leading the charge for all team members to identify local marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, host and participate in community and in-store events to steer growth and build revenue, examining, evaluating, and processing loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, enforcing adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations, participating in audits and compliance reviews as directed by the corporate office or District Manager, supervising and maintaining office security including cash management and loss prevention, conducting proper opening and closing procedures and training new staff in keyholder duties, participating in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees, developing work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs, handling complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism, monitoring and maintaining internal and external store appearance and addressing basic facility needs, performing duties outside of the office, when applicable, including on site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing, working efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment and handling multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards, conducting additional tasks as directed by leadership, and maintaining a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends.
