Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your daily hours would be from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, giving you the structure needed to excel while maintaining work-life balance. You’ll be responsible for teaching, lesson planning, classroom management, implementing IEPs, and composing IEPs according to each student’s unique learning needs.

Qualifications:

• State-issued SPED (Special Education) licensure
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
• Passion for fostering inclusive, accessible learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver targeted lessons in alignment with IEP goals
• Manage a classroom of up to 8 students, adapting instruction as needed
• Collaborate with support staff, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Accurately maintain records, track progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create a positive, supportive learning space where every student feels valued
