Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Athens, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 10-week contract. Patient ratio 1:2 in a 10-bed intensive care unit with an average daily census of 8 patients.

Highlights:

• 10-week travel nursing assignment in a critical care environment
• Manageable patient ratios with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric populations in a mixed ICU setting
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract
• Weekend coverage required as part of rotation

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required); TNCC (preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, and cardiac monitoring
• Geographic restrictions apply; candidates residing in certain nearby counties are not eligible
