Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation facility in Appomattox, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy services to patients, ensuring they achieve their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload that allows for focused and attentive care.
• Leverage extensive knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement treatment plans, drawing on previous clinical experiences.
• Utilize cost-effective and therapeutic modalities to enhance patients' mobility and overall function.
• Advocate for nonsurgical treatment options, minimizing reliance on medications through alternative therapy approaches.
• Design and monitor comprehensive care plans involving various treatment techniques to optimize recovery.
• Tailor exercise programs to individual patient needs, promoting overall health and wellness.
• Motivate patients by providing encouragement and support throughout their treatment journeys.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic treatment and continuous care coordination.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly using EMR systems to maintain compliance and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population of patients, including athletes, active adults, and individuals recovering from surgery or injury. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must possess an active physical therapy license in the state of Virginia, demonstrating compliance with current regulations.
• Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices supported by current research in the field of physical therapy.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for comprehensive patient documentation and management.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patients' specific rehabilitation needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting or similar therapeutic environment.
• Background in sports medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, or related specialties.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position offers an attractive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
