Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a BSN, Level I Trauma experience, and a PA or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) unit,
• May float to the GI unit or Center One Surgery Center,
• Schedule may include a mix of 8-hour (11p-7:30a) and 12-hour (7p-7:30a) night shifts,
• Two weekend nights required per 6-week schedule (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing),
• Charting system: Cerner,

Job Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license required,
• BSN required,
• Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience in a Level I Trauma setting,
• Liver and kidney surgical experience required,
• Trauma certification required,
• Scrub and circulate experience preferred,
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,
• Copies of certifications required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position,
• One summer and one winter holiday call shift required (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing),
• One summer and one winter holiday work shift required (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing),
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
