Valet ManagerReports To: Operations ManagerLocation: Ponce City Market – Atlanta, GABasic Duties:Oversee and manage all day-to-day valet operations at Ponce City Market, ensuring safe, professional, and efficient service.Directly supervise valet attendants and support staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.Serve as the primary point of contact for guest relations and tenant coordination related to valet and parking services.Job Responsibilities:Create, publish, and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure adequate valet coverage during all operating hoursRecruit, hire, train, and evaluate valet attendants and support staffRespond to and resolve guest concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionallyServe as the primary liaison with Ponce City Market property management and tenants regarding valet operationsCoordinate valet service for tenant events, promotions, and special property requestsManage daily cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation of valet revenueTrack and report key performance metrics (revenue, ticket counts, staffing costs) to senior managementEnsure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and local regulationsMaintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and claims, and oversee the resolution processMonitor and maintain quality of key control, ticketing systems, and vehicle handling proceduresConduct regular staff meetings and ongoing training on service standards and safety proceduresOversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of valet stands, podiums, and staging areasAddress staff performance issues, including coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary measures as neededAssist with any additional tasks that may arise or be assigned by senior managementMinimum Qualifications:Experience – Minimum 2-3 years of valet or parking operations experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management roleEducation – High school diploma required; college degree preferredLicense – Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with current address and exceptional driving recordFinancial – Experience with cash handling, and basic financial reportingCommunication – Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally with guests, tenants, and staffLeadership – Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a teamCustomer Service – Able to respond and interact with guests in a positive manner to inspire enjoyment of their experienceAvailability – Available to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods of timeOccasionally required to drive, park, and retrieve vehiclesLift and/or move up to 25 poundsOperational Times:Monday–Sunday; schedule varies based on property needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
