Senior Acquisition Analyst

This position is responsible for managing the complete "cradle-to-grave" federal contracting lifecycle for the Lower Tier Interceptor Product Office within PM SHIELD. This role ensures the seamless and compliant execution of contract and acquisition actions from initial concept and strategy development through final contract closeout, directly supporting mission requirements.

Requirements:
• Review and negotiate contract awards, modifications, and agreements (NDA, TA, Subcontracts, etc.) within delegated authority.
• Determine, recommend, and execute contract terminations when in the Government's best interest, engaging vendor senior leadership directly."
• Process and resolve protests in accordance with FAR and agency requirements.
• Apply regulatory remedies to safeguard Government rights under non-commercial item contracts.
• Investigate, analyze, and manage disputes/protests, negotiate resolutions, and draft Contracting Officer decisions."
• Advise and brief senior leadership on highly complex acquisition matters.
• Lead collaborative acquisition teams to award complex contract vehicles for enterprise and strategic sourcing.
• Conduct section-wide acquisition strategy reviews via the Procurement Strategy Review (PSR) process."
• Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive sustainment strategies for the Army Contracting Command Headquarters.
• Consult with Program Managers (PMs) to align contractual scope with the Army Acquisition Re-alignment program strategy.
• Support the development of creative materials to enhance understanding of Army transformation focus areas.
• Prepare and present unit metrics and acquisition updates to senior leaders and General Officers.
• Proficiency with Paperless Contract Files (PCF) system and other Army contracting/acquisition systems required.
