Pay : Up to $35/hour, depending on experience, plus full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (occasional travel to local client sites as needed)
Dress Code: Business Casual

About the Role
We are seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to provide hands-on desktop support, hardware repair, device deployment, and asset management services for a client environment in downtown Chicago. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys working directly with end users, troubleshooting hardware issues, and maintaining a high level of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
•Image, configure, deploy, and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
•Perform hardware diagnostics and break-fix repairs, including batteries, screens, motherboards, and other components.
•Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
•Manage and prioritize assigned tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
•Follow established escalation processes and collaborate with internal and client support teams when needed.
•Perform quality control checks to ensure devices meet operational standards.
•Maintain accurate asset management records, inventory tracking, and equipment disposition documentation.
•Process stockroom repairs and ensure devices are restored to full functionality with approved corporate images.
•Order replacement parts and manage warranty returns as required.
•Support data certification and equipment disposal processes while ensuring documentation accuracy.
•Travel occasionally to local client sites to provide onsite support.

Required Qualifications
•Minimum 3 years of IT support, desktop support, or service technician experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
•Experience imaging and deploying Windows-based laptops and desktop systems.
•Strong hardware troubleshooting and break-fix repair experience.
•Experience working within a ticketing system environment.
•Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
•Strong PC troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Experience 
•ServiceNow Ticketing experience.
•Experience with asset management and inventory control processes.
•Familiarity with SCCM, MDT, Ghost, or similar imaging tools.
•Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
