Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized nursing care to patients, ensuring their individual needs are addressed with empathy and skill.
• Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient care, adjusting to changes in assignments and patient conditions as necessary.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide tailored patient care.
• Develop and document care plans based on thorough assessments and diagnoses.
• Respond effectively to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy, accurately and safely.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment and comply with infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained within one month of hire.
• ACLS certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
