**Experienced** DSP(Direct Support Professional)

$19-$23 an hour ***Full-time positions available***

Shifts Available 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and supervision to youth in a structured home environment
• Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) strategies as trained
• Maintain a calm, consistent, and therapeutic approach, even in high-stress situations
• Assist in creating a safe environment through patience, empathy, and clear communication
• Adapt to rapidly changing situations and support team members in collaborative problem-solving

Challenging Behaviors You May Encounter:

• Emotional Outbursts : including spitting, cursing, yelling, or running away (AWOL)
• Physical Aggression : such as hitting, kicking, biting, or hair pulling
• Self-Injurious Behaviors

• Ability to stay composed and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A high level of patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
• Capacity to follow safety protocols and implement intervention techniques as trained

• ​​​​​​​CPR and First Aid
• Medication Training
• DSP1 and DSP2 Training (after 6 months of employment)
• RBT Training (after a year of employment)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

***Mandatory Requirements***

• Must be able to clear FBI/DOJ Fingerprints
• Must have or be able to obtain a TB and Physical from your Doctor or Urgent Care
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications

• DSP1 and DSP2 
• RBT
