Position Summary Department: 11807 Enterprise Corporate – HTM: Enterprise Asset Disposal ProgramStatus: Full timeBenefits Eligible: YesHours Per Week: 40Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ESTPay Range: $35.50 – $53.25 per hour Responsibilities Implements and coordinates Aurora Health Care Asset Investment Recovery (AIR) program, ensuring optimum value through redeployment and disposal of materials and assets. Acts as project coordinator on facility projects with significant assets for investment recovery. Assigns, monitors, and reviews efficiency of daily delivery and pickup schedules for AIR staff. Provides guidance to internal partners and external customers on AIR activities and resolves complex investment recovery issues. Oversees, monitors, and supports the entire AIR program process. Acts as a resource to staff partners regarding asset retirement and disposal. Develops effective working relationships with internal partners and external customers to gather information, evaluate, and coordinate assets within AIR. Assists in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures for the AIR program, monitors effectiveness, and recommends changes as needed. Develops and administers the AFD (Authorization for Disposal) form and database for the AIR program, scrutinizing program progress. Analyzes trade‑in, leased, or rental assets within AIR to ensure proper disposal method is selected for maximum recovery. Manages retirement and disposal of specialized fixed assets by coordinating de‑installation, removal, and disposal for facilities. Educates, communicates, and champions the AIR program throughout Aurora Health Care; trains staff on benefits and value. Collaborates with Capital Equipment Services, Clinical Engineering, Finance, and Information Services to develop financial reporting tools, including savings and cost‑avoidance reports. Compiles and submits program activity reports, including transfer, sales, trade‑in, parts procurement, donation, scrap, cancellation, and courier reports. Analyzes reports to determine program suitability and recommend disposal strategies. Develops marketing plans, sets selling prices, and seeks customer base for surplus sales; negotiates sales and evaluates bids. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years in investment recovery within the healthcare industry. Licensure: None required. Skills & Abilities Leadership, initiative, and commitment to performance improvement. Technical competence with data integrity and confidentiality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) and large‑scale automated systems. Expertise in preparing, importing, and manipulating data in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to orchestrate multiple functions and resources. Professional interaction with management, physicians, and healthcare staff. Excellent oral and written communication, public relations, and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively and responsibly without direct supervision. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Operates equipment necessary to perform the job; exposed to normal office environment for most of the day; occasional exposure to warehouse, storage rooms, basements, and patient care areas. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods. Position requires travel, exposing incumbent to road and weather hazards.
