Job Description

The Operator sets up, operates, and monitors packaging equipment to assemble, kit, and pack products accurately and efficiently. This role works at various packaging workstations, performs visual quality inspections, and uses basic computer and math skills to complete data entry and documentation. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to meeting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, kit, and pack products according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Operate packaging machines and equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
• Work at different packaging workstations as needed, including kitting, labeling, and packing lines.
• Sort and scan materials to ensure correct product identification and traceability.
• Perform regular visual quality checks and inspections to verify product and packaging quality.
• Label products and packaging accurately to meet internal and customer requirements.
• Use a computer to complete basic data entry and update production record

Essential Skills

• Experience with general labor, general production, machine operating or general assembly in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
