Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Non Profit About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its mission-driven healthcare environment. The CFO will play a pivotal role in executive leadership, with a focus on financial strategy, planning, and long-term sustainability. This high-visibility position involves direct influence on organizational strategy and requires a strong commitment to supporting underserved communities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape financial strategy, growth planning, and operational decision-making, and will be responsible for overseeing a complex nonprofit healthcare finance environment, including grants and reimbursement. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading all financial activities, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls, and providing executive oversight of revenue cycle operations and third-party reimbursement. The role also involves partnering with the CEO and Board on financial performance, strategy, and long-term planning, and ensuring compliance with various financial requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred), a CPA is strongly preferred, and 5-8+ years of senior financial leadership experience in nonprofit healthcare or FQHC settings. Deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting, grant compliance, and federal reporting, as well as experience in revenue cycle management and payer reimbursement, is essential. The CFO will be expected to have a proven track record of working with executive leadership and boards, and to embody the organization's values of collaboration, innovation, and leadership voice.
