Human Resources Specialist (Classification)
Some of your typical work assignments may include:
Planning, organizing, and executing special DoD-level projects and studies on emerging classification issues and proposals.
Preparing detailed briefings and proposal packages for consideration by high-level DoD management and/or OPM.
Developing/revising classification training materials and delivering basic and advanced classification training to HR and supervisory/management staff throughout the DoD Components.
Serving as the classification representative on DoD-level working groups developing new systems, processes, or legislation.
Adjudicating DoD-level classification appeals.
